The classic logic puzzle ported to the Commodore 64 — VIC-II colour, SID music, and floppy-disk high scores.
No tetrominoes, no rotation. A single coloured cell descends a narrow 4 × 12 well. Landing it connects lines of 3 or more matching cells — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — which vanish, collapse under gravity, and chain into compounding cascades!
Play right here in your browser or on itch.io. Joystick in port 2, or use the keyboard.
Six brick types distinguished by Commodore 64 palette colours. Persistent floppy saves. Sprite fireworks on the results screen.
Play, high scores, how to play, and settings.
Identical brick shape — colour is the only tell.
Matched lines flash white before they cascade.
Top 5 with initials, saved via KERNAL to disk.
Faithful match resolution, gravity compaction, and cascade chains on real 6502 code.
Persistent minitris.hi on the .D64 via standard KERNAL routines. Use the disk image for high scores.
Memory Reboot arranged for SID by DJ Space, sharing the chip with in-game sound effects.
Runs on PAL C64/128, MiSTer, Ultimate 64, Kung Fu Flash, SD2IEC, VICE, Denise, and Hoxs64.
Master the rules, exploit cascading gravity, and chase high scores on floppy disk.
Coloured cells descend one at a time down the 4×12 well. Position each cell before it settles.
Connect 3 or more same-coloured cells in straight lines: vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.
Matched cells vanish and floating cells collapse down. New lines trigger compounding cascade multipliers.
The game ends when the top row fills. Enter three initials and save the run to floppy disk.
Joystick in port 2 is recommended. Keyboard works on real hardware and in the browser player.
Loading: attach minitris.d64 (recommended for score persistence) or autostart minitris.prg.

The same logic puzzle, on mobile and Game Boy — plus a Game Boy Color arcade shooter.
